CupKake News, a CupKake layout, and a Chocolate Ball Recipe

Ive been a busy lady! Go check out the news at my CupKake Artillery Blog.
But, while your here check out this:

It reads: I was so excited to see my PEZ Earrings on the Cartfly blog! When I started making them I thought they would never sell but, low and behold they have been my best seller!

Made in Gimp, with paper by Tara Dunsten, Pez overlay by LeeAlice C. Renfro, lines by Weeds and Wildflowers.
And then try these! I got the recipe from braziliansparadise.blogspot.com, a fellow awsom Etsy jewlery maker.

BRIGADEIROS
(Brazilian Chocolate balls)

Ingredients
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 tablespoon butter

3 tablespoons cocoa chocolate sprinkles

Directions

1Over medium-low heat, stir vigorously the three ingredients.
2Cook the mixture until it thickens enough to show the pan bottom during stirring (it will be firm enough to stay together and not spread) Pour into a greased dish and let cool to room temperature (or chill a few minutes in the fridge) Grease your hands with butter and take small amounts of candy and form into 1 1/2 inch balls.
3Roll the balls in chocolate jimmies to decorate.
4If the balls don't hold their shape, cook an additional 5 minutes until it thickens up more

Update: They were so good that we ate them all before I could get a single picture!

Zo-Zo Layout, and the boy's 1st day of P-K

This Layout of Zoey Dallas is made with a freebie from Little Dreamer Designs(link in the blog roll).

I'm finding new Gimp Scripts all the time! I used a Moody colors Script-Fu in Gimp to achieve the photo's hue.

The layout reads Zoey you are beautiful, wonderful, sweet, precious, sassy, outrageous, loving, and a dream come true.

It was the boys first day of P-K! I was so sad to leave them. Cannon was ready to play, but Colt didn't want us to leave. The teacher had to distract him so we could sneak out. When we went to pay for their lunches this week we discovered it is $2.85 a day per child! I remember when it was a buck twenty five just 5 years ago! I'm packing their lunches from now on!
